Kristin Davis sex-tape scandal

Fondly remembered as the wallflower of the promiscuous foursome, Sex and the City star Kristin Davis is caught in a sex tape scandal.

It appears as though the actress who played demure Charlotte York-Goldenblatt appears to be taking a cue from her on-screen pal Samantha Jones, no?

A dozen images began circulating the Internet Monday, reportedly taken from a sex video of the 43-year-old actress and an unidentified male.

Radar reports that the tape featuring Davis in a number of compromising positions is being shopped around to the highest bidder. Davis and her representatives deny the allegations.

“This is not a photo of Kristin Davis,” Davis’s rep told OK!. “There is no sex tape.”

While it’s unlikely she could pass for a woman nearly half her age, it’s rumoured that the female portrayed in the images is perhaps pornographic film star Taylor Rain, 26, who bears a slight resemblance to Davis.

Sex tapes have been useful publicity tools for many celebrities, including Paris Hilton and Kim Kardashian. Sex and the City: The Movie hits theatres May 30. Kristen or not, this sure will help the buzz!
